Privacy Policy

How Renovo Consulting LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information about website visitors and clients. Effective October 24, 2026.

This policy covers renovoconsultingllc.net and the information clients give us while we provide bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, business formation, document preparation, and notary services. It also serves as our privacy notice to clients under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.

Information we collect on this website

  • Contact form. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, the topic you choose, and your message, along with the date, time, and IP address the message was sent from.
  • Quote builder. If you ask us to email you a quote, your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the services you selected. A copy of the quote comes to us so we can follow up.
  • Business Health Check. Your answers are saved only in your own browser so they are there when you return. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
  • Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It reports general information such as the page visited, the site that referred you, your country, and your browser and device type. It does not use cookies or local storage, and it does not fingerprint visitors, so it does not tell us who you are.
  • Technical and security data. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the information every browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to deliver pages and block abusive traffic. We use IP addresses to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection in an hour.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people apart from automated traffic.

Information we collect from clients

To provide our services, we collect what the work requires. Depending on the service, that can include names, addresses, Social Security numbers and EINs, dates of birth, income and tax records, bank and credit card statements, payroll and employee information, business formation records, information needed to prepare estate and real estate documents, and the identification and journal details Pennsylvania law requires for notarizations. We collect this from you, from documents you provide, and from others you authorize us to contact.

How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and send quotes you request.
  • To provide the services you engage us for, including preparing and filing returns, reports, and documents.
  • To bill for our services and keep business records.
  • To remind clients of deadlines and items we need from them.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.
  • To keep our website working and secure.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing.

How we share information

  • Government agencies. When we file on your behalf, for example with the IRS, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, the Pennsylvania Department of State, local tax collectors, or a county recorder of deeds.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us operate and are bound to keep the information confidential, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), business email and file storage (Google Workspace), and the accounting, payroll, expense, and tax preparation software we use to do the work.
  • People you direct us to. Such as your lender, attorney, insurance agent, or another accountant, when you ask us to.
  • When the law requires it. Such as a subpoena or court order.

We share personal information only in these ways. Because we do not share it with outside companies for their own use, there is nothing you need to opt out of.

Tax return information. Federal law (Internal Revenue Code section 7216) limits how tax return preparers may use and disclose tax return information. We use it to prepare your returns and provide related services you ask for, and we do not use or disclose it for any other purpose without your written consent unless the law permits it.

How we protect information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect client information, as federal rules require of tax preparers. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work, and connections to this website are encrypted.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax documents through the website contact form or ordinary email. Call us at (724) 567-8181 and we will arrange a secure way to send them.

How long we keep information

Messages and quote requests sent through this website are kept as business correspondence. The counters we use to limit messages by IP address delete themselves within an hour. Client records are kept as long as needed to serve you and as long as law and professional standards require, including at least three years for copies of the returns we prepare. Records we no longer need are securely destroyed.

Your choices

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete messages you sent through this website. Some client records must be kept for the periods described above even after our work together ends. Email info@renovoconsultingllc.net with any request.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children online. Information about dependents is collected only from a parent or guardian as part of the services they engage us for.

Links to other websites

Our articles and resources link to government agencies and other outside sites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and notify clients when the law requires it.
